Hi Dance Families 🤍,
Recital season is officially upon us, and we are so excited to celebrate your dancers and the hard work they’ve put in this year. Please read through the important information below as we head into the final stretch of the season.
📅 Recital Weekend Overview
Our 2026 recital will take place June 11–13.
Thursday, June 11 – Blocking Day
Each class will be assigned a specific time to practice spacing and transitions on stage. A detailed schedule will be shared soon.Friday, June 12
• Morning dress rehearsals
• Lunch break
• Performance at 3:00 PMSaturday, June 13
• Performances at 11:00 AM and 1:00 PM
More detailed schedules will be sent as we get closer.
👨👩👧 Mandatory Parent Meetings
To ensure the best communication possible going into recital season, we are hosting three parent meetings based on class level.
👉 One meeting is mandatory for a parent or grandparent to attend.
👉 Families with dancers in multiple levels only need to attend one meeting.All meetings will be held at Soul Studios – Deer Park at 6:30 PM.
April 17
Pre-Ballet, Pre-Ballet Plus, Tap 1April 24
Ballet 1, Tap 1.5, Hip Hop Level 1May 1
Ballet 2, Hip Hop 2, Tap 2, Lyrical, Jazz
This meeting will also include information about next year’s classes and a vision-casting conversation for what we are building with our older dancers.
These meetings will cover recital expectations, schedules, costumes, volunteers, and important reminders.

🙋♀️ Recital Volunteers
We will be forming a Recital Volunteer Committee, which plays a huge role in making recital weekend run smoothly.

Important Reminders
If your dancer will not be participating in recital, please notify us as soon as possible.
Our goal during recital season is clear, consistent communication — thank you for partnering with us in that.
Each one of your kiddos is so loved, and we are incredibly proud of the growth we’ve seen this year.

As we roll into the new year, we wanted to share an important update regarding studio communication to help keep everything running smoothly and clearly for everyone.
📱 Studio Phone Number Update
Our studio phone number is now 509-514-7525. This number is monitored by our admin team, so you may receive a response from someone other than me (Jenna).📧 Dance Communication Reminder
If you didn’t know, last year I brought on a dedicated Dance Admin staff member. She is the person you will hear from most often via email and text messages.Please direct all dance-related communication to:

This email address was shared in our original paperwork and emails, but I completely understand how busy life can get! Using this central inbox helps us keep records of communication clean, organized, and easily accessible for our team.

Please feel free to text the studio number if you need a quick response about a class (same-day questions, attendance, etc.). For everything else, the admin email is the best place to reach us.✨ Looking Ahead
Registration remains open through the end of February, and we would absolutely love to continue growing our program — so please don’t hesitate to invite friends to join us!We will officially begin recital preparation on March 1st. If you do not plan on participating in recital, please let us know ahead of that date. Recital is such a special and joyful experience, and I am beyond excited for this year’s theme — I can’t wait to share more with you soon!

Tuition is posted on the 1st of every month.
Payments are due within 10 days through Studio Pro.
Auto-Pay: If you have it set up, it will be withdrawn on the 2nd of each month at 9:00 am.
A late fee will be applied for any unpaid balances after the 10th of the month.

We use Studio Pro, the program you used to sign up your child for classes. If you haven't already, please download the DSP app from your app store. Once logged in, you can view your child's class schedule, closed dates for holidays, and receive important announcements, including recital information and ticket purchases.
